School Regulations
1. School Hours:
School is open Monday to Friday, except on Public Holidays. The children will be accepted from 7.30 a.m. and will be in the care of a teacher. Play group children must be picked at 12.00 p.m. Half-day children may be picked up between 12.30 p.m. and 1.00 p.m. Full Day children must be picked between 3.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. The school will be closed and all staff will go off duty half an hour after the stated closure times and no further responsibility will be accepted for your child.
2. Uniforms:
P.E. uniforms are available from the school. Full school uniform is also available. Please ask which house colour your child has been placed in, as you will be required to buy a T-Shirt of that house colour, in the Sports term.
3. Food:
Most children feel more secure bringing a snack from home, for the morning break. If they haven’t eaten breakfast, please give them a healthy snack. Children staying for lunch are provided with a well balanced hot meal cooked at the school. Children who stay in the afternoon are served with a drink and a snack at 3:00p.m. Download our sample meal plan.
4. Clothing:
Please label your child’s clothes, school bag and contents clearly with his/her name. Whilst care will be taken to prevent any losses, no responsibility in this matter can be accepted. Please send in a change of clothes (and diaper if applicable). You may collect a uniform list from the office.
5. Absences:
If your child is absent through illness or any other reason, please inform the school.
6. Change of Telephone Number & Address
Please notify the school as soon as possible of any changes in your telephone number, box number or home address (i.e. The location of your house). This is most important should the need to contact you urgently arise.
